TARGET Closure 1/10/19

On the afternoon of Tuesday 1st October 2019, all our surgery sites will be closed for the city wide TARGET training event.

If you have a medical issue that cannot wait until the following day, please call the out of hours service on 111. Calls to the 111 service are free from landlines and mobiles.

Please only call 999 if you have a life threatening emergency.

All our sites will re-open as normal at 8am on Wednesday 2nd October.

Flu Vaccinations

Flu vaccinations are available  for  patients across all our sites from 30th September The following people are eligible; Those over 65 years of age, pregnant or diagnosed with the following conditions COPD, Heart conditions,Stroke or Diabetes. Clinics are on the 5th October at Portswood and Adelaide and the 12th October at Nichols Town. Please book your appointment with the surgery.

 Online Access

Online access to your medical records - Did you know you  can register online for access to your medical record, please  ask at reception for 'login' details to enable this to be set up. Alternatively download  the NHS App for  the App store

Self-referral Page

Did you know you can directly refer yourself to some services in Southampton such as physiotherapy, assistance to stop smoking and more? There's no need to see the GP for these. Click the link above for more!

"Why can't I get a prescription for paracetamol?"

The guidance on prescribing medications for conditions that can be treated with over the counter medications has changed. Many of these medications can be bought easily at the pharmacy or your local supermarket and do not cost a lot. For more information see this handy leaflet
