Green Inhaler
Aerosol asthma inhalers carry a very high carbon footprint.
For example, 1 ventolin aerosol is the same as driving about 175 miles in a car. There are some aerosol inhalers with a lower footprint & so on advice from our CCG we are switching you to one of these - Salamol - this is the same active medication & used in exactly the same way as your old inhaler.
There are other inhalers that have an even lower footprint & if you wish to consider these, please discuss with your asthma nurse at your next review.
