New local covid-vaccination helpline launched to help patients
A new Hampshire and Isle of Wight vaccine helpline has been launched to help patients:
- Find their nearest COVID-19 vaccination site (including the latest walk-in clinics)
- Book an appointment to get vaccinated (including for children aged 5+)
- Find the latest COVID information on international travel arrangements
- Access information on the vaccine in a range of languages including Polish, Punjabi, Chinese, Ukrainian and Arabic, as well as alternative formats such as Braille or Easy Read.
People can access the helpline by phoning 0300 561 0018, Monday to Friday between 0900-1700.
Please note
This is a separate service from the covid-19 vaccination appointments the surgery will be offering together with other surgeries within the Primary Care Network. Patients who are eligible will receive a text message asking them to book an appointment as soon as they are available.
However, if you would like your vaccine at another location, please either phone the helpline number or book online via the national booking service
